Within a relatively compact space, this kitchen remodel explored a number of ways to “live larger”. A square kitchen / dining counter was located in the previously underutilized center of the room. A narrow doorway between the kitchen and the dining area was nearly tripled in width to allow the two spaces to flow into one another. Additional cupboards located above the cornice line increase the storage capacity.
