Hayley Buckbee | Associate

Raised on the Southern Oregon Coast, Hayley brings a sense of curiosity and a passion for regionalism to her work. She takes an interest in context, both natural and built, to interpret and translate the world around her and inform her explorations.  Her recent collaborative projects include The Sarah Queen, a mixed use project in Seattle’s Central District and a new classroom wing for Cristo Rey Jesuit Seattle High School in South Seattle. Hayley also co-runs a site-specific art installation collaborative, exploring the impact of light and form on the built environment.  When she is not practicing art and architecture, she spends her time slowly renovating her island home on Vashon and swimming in the sound with her giant Newfoundland dog, Prosciutto di Parma.
