Mike Laurencelle | Associate

Mike is a licensed architect and Pacific Northwest transplant whose work is grounded in craft, collaboration, and a deep respect for site and material. His perspective has been shaped by professional experience across the U.S. and Europe, including his time as a Valle Scholar in Copenhagen, where he studied material reuse and circular design strategies. Mike brings a pragmatic yet spirited approach to architecture, drawing inspiration from texture, context, and environmental conditions. He values process as much as outcome and is committed to delivering thoughtful, sustainable design that contributes to more livable urban environments. Mike also spends his time cycling, being a dad, and negotiating daily interruptions from two very rambunctious felines who insist on being part of the design process.
