Block18 Apartments

This project strives to create an enduring 118-unit apartment building that provides a variety of high-quality dwelling units while from the outside respects and complements its neighbors. The building is organized around a central landscaped courtyard that complements the neighboring courtyard at SCCA Patient House. The building tapers at the ground floor to create an expanded pedestrian plaza with site seating and expanded landscaping. Street-level residential units along Minor Avenue are setback from the street with raised, semi-private patios and a landscape buffer between the patios and the sidewalk.
